Yellow printed big border tie dye Sungudi handloom cotton saree. This is a traditional tie and dye handloom cotton saree from the district of Madurai, Tamil Nadu. The body of the sari is yellow with small green and red prints, the pallu is green having block printed horse and dancing human figures. It has a big green border with beautiful zari peacock motifs. This is a 100% cotton fabric and the saree is starched at the time of dying for a crisp feel. For those who prefer soft sarees, it can be draped without starch after a wash.
